The Similkameen Valley
The Cathedral Mountains and Similkameen river dominate what is without a doubt my favorite hidden Valley. Situated right on Parallel 49, our southern border with the USA. The Valley has a long history with the Syilx Nation. For this region there are only a few vineyards, however they generally produce Small lot, but very high quality wines with an old world feel. The wine connoisseur in you will recognize that you need travel no further than this stunning region to sample the best Canada has to offer in "big Reds". Be prepared to enjoy outstanding wines from beautiful family run vineyards, and a very special, unique farm to table dining experience that is second to none. There are also amazing private accommodations for you to base yourselves right here. In our Signature Series you will find that this is the heart of our southern tour.
My full day tours is scheduled to last around 8 Hours. We normally visit 4 Wineries. At the planning stage you will have the choice to book an Optional Winery Lunch. All lunch costs are at your own expense. I'm very happy to help in booking this and to make recommendations. Other lunch options may be available please do ask at time of booking. Please do let us know if there are any allergies or other medical issues so we can do our best to accommodate everyone. Departure time from your location will be set at time of organizing your tour but generally we start around 9am to allow time to drive out to the Valley.
